About our historic pub

The Half Moon Inn has been owned and run by Paul and Angela Acton since 2007, but has been trading as a public house for over 400 years.

During the 1980's the Half Moon was used as a film location for the popular television series 'Lovejoy.' Below are some photographs taken by the landlord of the time during filming.
