Join us for Sunday Lunch at the Half Moon
People travel long distances for our superb Sunday Lunch - we're told it's the best in the county. Each week Paul carefully selects a fore rib of beef along with one other meat and roasts them to perfection. Add towering Yorkshire puddings, crisp roasties, fresh vegetables and an incredible gravy - it's what Sundays are all about. And not to leave anyone out, we always serve a fresh fish dish and a tasty vegetarian option.
Courses can be paid for separately or three courses and coffee for £15.00
Below is a sample menu and is subject to change according to availability. We serve Sunday lunch from 12 noon until 2pm. Bookings are advised.
Starters £4.50
- Whitebait served with tartar sauce and brown bread
- Traditional prawn cocktail
- Home made hummus with olives, dipping oils and flat bread (v)
- Black pudding fritters with sweet chilli dip
- Garlic and parsley breaded mushrooms, garlic mayonaise dip and side salad (v)
- Home made soup of the day, warm roll and butter(often v)
- Tempura battered squid with a sweet chilli dip and salad garnish
Maincourses £9.95 / child's portions £5.50
- Roast fore rib of 28 day aged Hereford beef - served with gravy, roast potatoes, honey roast parsnip, yorkshire pudding and vegetables of the day

We use Movenpick ice cream as we believe it to be the best. We have over nine flavours, you can choose up to three scoops. The flavours are; vanilla, chocolate, rum & raisin, white chocolate, creme brulee, maple walnut, caramel, pistachio and pannacotta.
